What happens when New York haircare experts develop a formulation for urbanites? The answer is AVON Advance Techniques haircare range. AVON recently forayed into the daily treatment conditioner industry with this release. Powered by a heavily advanced formula, and fortified with the most prized oils in the world, this range promises to revive even the most damaged hair.
We personally all want to achieve soft, shiny, and manageable hair. Plus hair that’s not gunky nor greasy midway through the day. My hair has been treated with XTenso Oleoshape (L’Oréal’s New Oil Enriched Volume Rebond) in June. Generally, my hair is soft and manageable, and will dry straight no matter what. But since XTenso Oleoshape is an oil enriched rebond, there needs to be a balance in finding haircare that cleans and nourishes my hair, but doesn’t weigh it down. The exact balance of having hair that’s equally shiny and bouncy can be a bit difficult to achieve.

So I tried out the two variants of AVON Advance Techniques. There’s Supreme Oils for severely damaged hair, and 360 Nourishment for normal to dry hair.
To be fair, the last time I colored my hair was waaay back in February, and since then I haven’t been doing anything crazy. To add, I got Xtenso Oleoshape last June so my hair is already infused with oils by the rebond. With this kind of history, for me, Supreme Oils was a bit too overnourishing already. But it’s just for someone like me. For anyone who gets hair dye every month or has bleached hair (which is almost everyone else right now), this is definitely what you need. If you will read the feedback online, people with bleached hair have worshipped this variant.
This is actually why under harsh lighting, my hair color looks uneven. The roots are already my natural color. The hair up to my chin is unbleached hair, and then the hair below that was bleached 2 years ago. I didn’t want to keep on recoloring since the bleached part will not absorb the color anyways, so I left it this way. I’ll probably recolor it to black or near black a few months from now perhaps.
