The last few years have been all about incorporating popular skincare ingredients into haircare and body care products. We have seen collagen used in all sorts of items, and another popular skincare powerhouse ingredient, Vitamin B3, has also made it to body care! Say hello to Olay BodyScience Crème Body Wash with Niacinamide (B3+)! These samples, unfortunately, ran out quite quickly, as they were full sized 300mL bottles and were only 60 points a sample!

I’m not sure about sample restocks, but since these new releases are exciting, I’ll go on talking about these new body washes from Olay.

Olay BodyScience Crème Body Wash Cleansing and Firming with French Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 aims to improve skin firmness and to repair skin’s moisture barrier to give radiant, youthful skin. This has a fruity fragrance, and if I remember correctly, it smells like the Olay Strawberry Body Wash from awhile back, if not the honey body wash… I’m sure I have encountered this fragrance before from P&G, I just can’t figure out which fragrance. This is described as having a blend of Juicy Strawberry, Sweet Pineappple, and Anjou Pear.

Olay BodyScience Crème Body Wash Cleansing and Brightening is enriched with French Vitamin C (as Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate) to brighten skin. This is also designed to repair the skin’s moisture barrier and to give radiant skin. We all know how Vitamin C has been used in a lot of serums and essences in the past few years to combat dull skin, so this is promising for someone like me with a very pale and dull skin tone. This has a fragrance that is described as an ensemble of Honey Dew Melon, Apple Blossom, and Green Bamboo.

Olay BodyScience Crème Body Wash Cleansing and Nourishing is enriched with hyaluronic acid, which we all know is a very popular ingredient to fight wrinkles and make skin bouncy in general. This is designed to nourish and repair skin for dewy, radiant skin. This is another exciting variant for me as I personally use a lot of hyaluronic acid products in my skincare. If Hada Labo made a body wash, this would probably be it. This has a unique fragrance which I think I have not smelled from other P&G products so far, and it’s described to be an ensemble of Star Fruit, Pomelo, and Violet leaf Fragrance.
