Love K-Glow Flawless Bright Body Cream (Lazada)
Love K-Glow Flawless Bright Body Cream (Shopee)
Climate change is really affecting our daily lives. It’s either rainy or humidly hot these days. The weather always feels so sticky, which is why it makes perfect sense for Love K-Glow to be releasing a light body milk with a non-sticky finish. Say hello to Love K-Glow Flawless Bright Body Cream (Php299 for 200mL)! This new release from Love K-Glow claims to be anti-aging, moisture-locking, and skin-barrier-strengthening.
First off, I just wanna talk about the cute PR box this came in!!! I’m so sorry to all the brands that I have not been able to feature PR boxes on the blog as I changed photography setups and have my current setup focused on taking macro shots of small items. If the PR kit is too big that it won’t fit in the softbox, I won’t be able to capture it in whole. But yes, they sent it in a cute closet concept PR box and I’m glad I was able to stuff it in my softbox so it can appear on the blog. Thank you!!!
Off the bat, the brand calls the scent a sakura floral scent, although if I will weigh in on it, I think it’s a lightweight shower fresh fragrance. I like the fragrance a lot even though it doesn’t smell like what we would imagine when cherry blossoms are brought up. I actually like it more this way as I’m really into soap-type and baby powder-type scents.
Okay, I wanna get onto discussing this lotion’s texture ASAP! It may be called ‘Body Cream’, but it’s very far from the thick body butters one might be imagining. This is more like body milk, as it’s runny and thin. It’s not like the body creams in tubs that you can turn upside down and nothing will spill. This is a godsend in the current deluge of climate change goes as it has a lightweight, easily absorbable texture. Heck, I am actually sweating even whilst sitting down typing this!
When applied, what I like is that it’s not a tone-up body cream. I was initially nervous when I saw it say ‘Radiant Powdery Finish’ because I feared that it would be like a lot of products in the market nowadays that came with a white powder mousse formulation that whitened the skin. Those sorts of lotions don’t work well for me as I end up looking like a porcelain doll with an unnatural-looking white cast. The powdery texture of a lot of tone-up creams is also not very helpful at times as they don’t spread well to the skin in humid weather which we, unfortunately, have 24/7 now due to climate change. But as you can see in this photo, it spreads translucently, so it’s not gonna be a source of unnatural white casts.
Once blended in, Love K-Glow Flawless Bright Body Cream feels similar to pore mattifying primer. It has this sort of powdery finish but is far from the powdery mousse-type tone-up creams frequently seen in the market these days. This is why I feel like it’s sorta like pore mattifying primer. I love how it helps skin to be hydrated and to achieve a glow from being hydrated. And it doesn’t feel sticky as it’s being absorbed. This is perfect whether you’re using this right after showering, or not right after showering. Some lotions seem to not get absorbed so well when you’re not fresh from the shower, but in this case it works fine either way.
Love K-Glow Flawless Bright Body Cream is available at Watsons, as well as Love K-Glow’s Shopee Store, and at LazMall’s Watsons Store for Php299 per 200mL tube.
