BEAUTY MADE AFFORDABLE
Sace Lady is undoubtedly the go-to brand for affordable, trendy color makeup. Products are usually priced below Php200 each, there are so many product lines and colors, and the items smell great, too! I’d say that relative to the price points of Sace Lady products, the performance is great. Most items are in the medium longevity range and work well for the new normal wherein we have endless online meetings. For this post, I wanna share some of the items they graciously sent to me!
Sace Lady has a good range of affordable primers, with an Oil-Free Primer (Php149 for 15mL) and All Matte Primer (Php99/6mL). The Oil-Free primer serves as a good base for those who want a natural finish without unwanted oiliness, while the All Matte primer works a lot like a pore eraser. I like the Oil-Free primer as I always like to go for dewy makeup looks.
For those who are trying to figure out which concealer shade works best, you can definitely go for Sace Lady Waterproof Concealer (Php119 each) as these are so affordable. Different people have different discoloration and undereye concerns, so it usually takes some shopping around to find the best concealer. In my own case, I got my under-eye fillers done in March 2020, so right now, I need a creamy concealer that can combat the existing dark colors on my under-eye area, but it doesn’t need to have a very strong undertone anymore.
These are shades 02, 03, and 04.
For those who match the shades of Sace Lady’s Longwear Foundation and Matte Longwear Foundation (Php139 for 15mL), it’s great for online meetings as it provides light-medium coverage that helps to just improve your complexion instead of covering it all up. I notice that when I wear heavy coverage base makeup for online meetings, y webcam makes it look really dramatic and all, so I’ve found that a light layer of foundation or some BB cushion works best for online settings. However, since there aren’t a lot of deep shades, this isn’t a very morena-friendly selection.
These are shades 02 and 03 for Matte Longwear, and shade 04 for Longwear. For reference, I use shade 02 of Matte Longwear foundation.
A product that I really liked is Sace Lady’s Liquid Blush (Php109 each) as the formulation is really creamy, blendable, and also very buildable. I love liquid blushes, but plenty of brands come up with shades that are too intense that it takes some learning curve to be able to apply the right quantity of blush. I once had to remove all my base makeup as I had applied too much liquid blush that there was just no way to salvage the look! The color selection from Sace Lady’s liquid blush collection is relatively mellow compared to other brands, and thus, is very beginner-friendly. I really really liked this item and would like to hoard the other shades in the roster.
Pictured here are shades 01 and 03.
But for those who are used to powder blush, there’s also Sace Lady Powder Blush (Php119 each). The shade selection is deeper, so this works well for those with deeper skintones. These are B01 and B03.
For those who want to try plenty of eyeshadows in one go, you can definitely go for Sace Lady 12-Pan Eyeshadow Palette (Php229/palette). They do have shimmer singles, but Sace Lady focuses more on quads, 7/8-pan palettes, and full-blown 35-color palettes.
Sace Lady also has Eyelash Curlers (Php99 each), as well plenty of brushes and sponges. They actually include a lot of free tools in their items, and when I bought brow soap from them, I got a free eyebrow shaver! I have only received Sace Lady items this 2020, so it’s too early for me to comment on product longevity (I say this because my fave eyelash curler is 11 years old and a lot of my makeup brushes are 7-8 years old). But if you’re looking for affordable tools that are of decent quality, then you can check Sace Lady’s tools out.
For the lips, Sace Lady has so many tints and lipsticks to choose from that I’ll be featuring just some of the items they have.
For lipstick, Sace Lady has their Velvet Matte Lipstick (Php129 each), which comes in a sleek tube. There are 12 shades that I know of, but I think they expand the line so often that there might even be new shades in the near future! These are shades 01-Tranquil, 02-Memory, 04-Zealous, and 09-Overt.
There’s also Sace Lady Waterproof Lipstick (Php69 each). This is shade 10, and there are also 12+ shades for this collection. This has paraffin and beeswax, so this is the formulation that works for those who like waxy lipsticks that set thinly on the lips.
Indeed, if you’re looking for something decent, affordable, and quick to buy (because they’re so active on Shopee), check out Sace Lady!
